How long have you been working at Manor homes? I have been with Manor Homes on a freelance basis since January 2021.
What is your day –to- day function at work? I initially started only with site wages & getting quotes in, my role has evolved from that to a bit of an all-rounder.
What do you enjoy about your job? Being a tad OCD makes me want to bullet point this – BUT – I love everything about my job. Not one day is the same, being able to run with a million bucks’ contract to doing the wages on site with the actual labourers who bring houses to life. I enjoy interacting with each individual as they all have a different background and a different story. Manor Homes has become my home – as the slogan goes – “Welcome Home”
Concrete, stone, wood, or glass …? and why. I am going to be bold and choose 2 😊 concrete and glass. Both elements boast with loads of potential- nothing says luxury like a sleek building with tons of glass!
What’s your favourite Drink? Champagne baby!
Best thing about summer? The smell of sunscreen and late evening braais.
Any fun activity or hobbies that you might have? I love reading and swimming – I might have been a mermaid in my previous life!

What do you enjoy about your job I love working with anything that has to do with Maths and organizing
Concrete, stone, wood or glass …? and why. Wood – I love old wooden antiques, wooden floors, wooden window frames. Wood gives an object character.
Whats your favourite Drink Gin and Tonic.
Best thing about summer or winter? Soup in winter and the heat in summer
What is your favourite summer or winter activity? Lying in the sun and making a vegetable garden. Winter activity – Going hunting with my Husband visiting the Kruger National Park; Going to ATKV – Eiland
Favourite song on your playlist? “Sewe Oseane” Andriette – But in general I love Afrikaans music
